I am proud to be part of The DeBruce Foundation, where we have the tools and passion to expand career pathways for everyone we serve.
The greatest value I’ve found in using our free tools has been the opportunity to introduce my family to the importance of career exploration. We all, including our elementary-aged daughters, Avery (7) and Londyn (8), enjoyed the Draw Your Future process. It provided a safe space for us to reflect on our experiences in 2024 and discuss our goals for 2025. Through this activity, we gained a deeper understanding of each other—and discovered that our daughters expect a dog in the near future! More importantly, it gave my daughters a structured process to evaluate themselves and take actionable steps toward developing the skills to reach new goals. It also gave them the language to describe those skills in ways that will benefit them in the classroom and in their future careers.
As the workforce evolves, it’s crucial that we prepare ourselves with a shared language to help us adapt, advance, and transfer our skills to meet future demands. The Agilities© provide that shared language, bridging the gap between industry needs and the talent required to propel us forward. It’s an honor to support our partners by offering tools that empower communities to grow alongside the economy.
As 2025 approaches, I challenge each of you to take the Agile Work Profiler© and consider how you can leverage your Agilities to build a better future for everyone.

Agilities at Make48 Nationals
Six teams recently competed at the Make48 Season 8 Nationals Competition! Each finalist team organized themselves by their Agilities and leaned into their diverse strengths while developing new products.
“I have really been utilizing my Organizing Agility during this competition…I’ve really been able to focus on keeping the team organized and on task, as well as ensuring we check all the necessary boxes for the challenge,” said Madalyn of the Innovation Hall Bears. The DeBruce Foundation is so grateful to work alongside Make48, empowering future innovators.

Building career confidence with ASA
A recent case study highlights the impact of EvolveMe®, part of ASA’s digital career readiness suite, paired with The DeBruce Foundation’s resources and Agile Work Profiler. In 2024, The DeBruce Foundation tasks in EvolveMe achieved a 99% completion rate, underscoring the platform’s effectiveness. Students described the tasks as “easy to understand,” “really inspiring,” and “fun and informative.” Feedback revealed students valued learning how to align lifestyle, income, and job satisfaction.
