We’re officially counting down the days to National Career Development Month! I’m excited for all the ways The Foundation will celebrate Career Literacy—sharing free tools, fresh ideas, and inspiring stories that help expand pathways to economic growth and opportunity for everyone.

From the moment young people begin imagining their futures, we have an opportunity to help them explore their interests, build Career Literacy, and connect what they’re learning to the world of work. These conversations and career-connected learning experiences continue to shape them in the classrooms.

That’s why I’m thrilled to invite educators, policymakers, and anyone passionate about preparing students for the future to join us on November 6 for our event,  Employment Empowerment for K–12: From Classroom to Career. You’ll see our K–12 Classroom Resources in action and hear my conversation with education expert and bestselling author Dr. Brad Johnson. It’s an event you won’t want to miss! Be sure to register here.

And if you’re eager to see how far we’ve come this year, don’t miss our new Mission Momentum report, highlighting the progress and partnerships fueling our shared vision of economic opportunity for all.

Agilities© Kids: Serving and Caring

Meet the Agility called Serving and Caring! This skill is all about building strong friendships and helping others. People with the Serving and Caring Agility are great at empathizing, understanding, and being supportive. They might volunteer to clean up after activities or help a friend learn something new. How can you practice Serving and Caring?
