Tools to Build Careers
Agile Work Profiler©
One of the most important steps for anyone embarking on their career journey is for them to understand the strengths, interests, and skills they bring to the workforce.
The Agile Work Profiler, The DeBruce Foundation’s free career assessment, allows individuals to understand their top skills and interests, which are known as their Agilities©! Whether you yourself are looking to identify your Agilities or you are helping others learn more about career opportunities, the Agile Work Profiler is the perfect tool to start with as you begin celebrating National Career Development Month.
Career Explorer Tools©
After taking the Agile Work Profiler, individuals can explore their Agilities in the workforce using the Career Explorer Tools. There are five Career Explorer Tools:
- Occupation Decoder – Find out the Agilities needed for your dream job
- Occupation Explorer – Explore more occupations based on your Agilities
- Opportunity Explorer – Discover high-demand jobs
- Agilities Comparison – Compare the Agilities of three occupations at once
- Education Explorer – Get a snapshot of post-secondary options
These tools are especially beneficial as they help build career literacy while demonstrating how Agilities align with current and future careers. We encourage you to try these tools and share them during National Career Development Month to create employment empowered individuals in classrooms, career centers, and beyond!
Draw Your Future with Agilities©
Visualizing your current reality as well as your desired reality is important for anyone navigating their career journey. Draw Your Future with Agilities is a great tool that helps individuals identify and visualize their goals for the future! This interactive activity allows individuals to think critically about their Agilities while considering the steps they can take to achieve their goals!
Access Draw Your Future with Agilities during National Career Development Month and expand pathways for your future!
