Kiana is a Strategic Communications Intern at The DeBruce Foundation and a student at The University of Kansas. In Fall 2025, she will complete her Bachelor of Science in Strategic Communications (now known as Digital Marketing and Communications) and her minor in Business, while applying to graduate programs in Strategic Communications programs across the Midwest.

At KU, Kiana works with fellow Journalism School students to develop digital marketing campaigns and has worked directly with clients to enhance their brand identity, media presence, and social engagement. In these roles, she oversees six culturally based sororities and fraternities that support a community for multicultural students to gain experience, connections, and resources for their futures on campus. She works both internally and externally to ensure all chapters operate efficiently and provide members with opportunities to grow.

Kiana is passionate about making sure every voice is not just heard but truly valued. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends, exploring new foods, and doing arts and crafts.
