Ava is a Strategic Communications Intern at The DeBruce Foundation and is a junior at the University of Missouri studying journalism with an emphasis in strategic communications. She is also pursuing a business minor and a digital marketing certificate.
At Mizzou, Ava has been involved in Tour Team, Her Campus, 7Brew Coffee, and a Greek organization since her freshman year. Through her coursework and hands-on experience, she has built a strong foundation in written and verbal communication, digital media, and storytelling. She is passionate about how strategic communications can shape public perception and build strong relationships between organizations and their audiences. Ava enjoys creating messages through content creation, campaign planning, and audience engagement.
In addition to her academic experience, Ava brings strong organizational skills, creativity, and a collaborative mindset to every project. In her free time, Ava enjoys reading, working out, spending time with friends and family, and watching sporting events.
