Anna is a Strategic Communications Intern at The DeBruce Foundation and a student at Kansas State University. This semester, she is completing her Bachelor’s of Science degree in American Ethnic Studies while simultaneously beginning her Master’s of Public Health with an emphasis on public health physical activity. At K-State, she works as a teaching assistant in her undergraduate department as well as volunteers as a peer educator with Recreation Services, educating students about their physical well-being and resources on campus. She is also a member of the Executive Student Advisory Board for Diversity Equity Inclusion and Belonging at K-State where she works to find ways to make campus and the greater Manhattan community a more inclusive and equitable place for all students. Anna is committed to lifelong learning and is passionate about health equity and helping others live their healthiest lives. In her free time, she enjoys reading, hiking, walking her dog, and waitressing at a local Manhattan restaurant.
