As a Consultant of Partnerships and Special Projects at The DeBruce Foundation, Amanda’s goal is connecting with educators, youth and adult serving organizations, cross sector business and industry partners, and statewide entities in Indiana to develop and support their implementation of the Agilities. Amanda is an experienced Indiana educator with over 17 years serving at all levels within public education including two years at the state level as the Indiana Department of Education (IDOE) Chief of Workforce & STEM Alliances. While serving at the IDOE, Amanda worked closely with other State agencies regarding policy development and program implementation within standards & curriculum, career & technical education, workforce development, college and career readiness, business & industry partnerships, and STEM/CS education.
Amanda holds a Bachelor’s in Technology Education from Purdue University, a Master’s of Educational Administration from Purdue University, and is completing her PhD program in Educational Curriculum & Instruction at Purdue University.
