The Agile Work Profiler© Hits New Milestone: Completed 100,000 Times in 2024!

Kansas City, MO — The DeBruce Foundation is excited to announce that its signature tool, the Agile Work Profiler© (AWP), has been taken over 100,000 times this year! Since its launch in 2019, the AWP has been taken more than 275,000 times, demonstrating its growing impact as a key resource in building career literacy and helping individuals identify their skills and interests.

Individuals across the nation have used this tool to discover their strengths and interests, and how to take advantage of this resource in interviews, professional development, and in their respective industries. The AWP serves a wide range of people, those just being introduced to career resources, students prepping for the next step, and job seekers looking to get back into the workforce or change up their career.

The AWP was cited in “Developing Talents: Careers for Individuals with Autism” by Dr. Temple Grandin and Kate Duffy. In the book, the Agile Work Profiler is referenced in one of five “positive changes in the employment landscape for individuals on the autism spectrum” and described as a job and career mapping tool that is “free and aims to help individuals of all ages learn how their strengths can add value to the workforce.”

“We are thrilled to celebrate this incredible milestone of more than 100,000 completions of the Agile Work Profiler in 2024,” said Dr. Leigh Anne Taylor Knight, Executive Director and COO of The DeBruce Foundation. “By helping people of all ages and backgrounds discover their unique contributions to the workforce, we are paving the way for expanded career pathways and professional growth while addressing talent pipeline challenges.”

This achievement, of 100k completed AWPs in 2024, came as The DeBruce Foundation just celebrated National Career Development Month in November, reinforcing its commitment to empowering educators, students, and workforce professionals with tools and resources to expand career pathways. At this event, The Foundation unveiled its new K-12 Career Literacy resources, which expands on research for the AWP, and creates opportunities for students to engage with the 10 Agilities© so they can work on strengthening their skills.
