Agilities© Go Viral: The DeBruce Foundation Launches National Impact Dashboard Ahead of Career Development Month
KANSAS CITY, MO – The DeBruce Foundation today announced the launch of a new interactive dashboard showcasing the nationwide scale and impact of its Career Literacy tools, marking major milestones ahead of National Career Development Month.
To date, the Agile Work Profiler© has been taken more than 406,000 times and across all 50 states, and its Career Explorer Tools© have been used more than 500,000 times. These achievements represent significant progress toward The DeBruce Foundation’s bold goal of reaching 2 million people annually with its research-backed tools that help individuals build confidence, explore career pathways, and thrive in a rapidly changing economy.
“Careers are changing—and the ways we prepare for and pursue them need to change too,” said Dr. Leigh Anne Taylor Knight, Executive Director and COO of The DeBruce Foundation. “As artificial intelligence and other forces transform the workplace, it’s essential to equip students and workers with the confidence and agility to thrive in jobs that may not even exist yet. Our Agilities tools are how we do that.”
The Mission Momentum dashboard, which will be updated quarterly, also includes an interactive map showing the geographic reach of the Agile Work Profiler and other key indicators, including:
- 1,005 trained Agilities coaches in 24 states;
- 250 partners who have adopted the Agilities framework;
- Students in 1,480 school districts in all 50 U.S. states who have used the Foundation’s K-12 resources.
The DeBruce Foundation invites educators, policymakers, and community partners to explore the new dashboard and join in advancing Career Literacy nationwide. To build on this progress, The DeBruce Foundation is hosting a free webinar on November 6: Employment Empowerment for K-12: From Classroom to Career.
The DeBruce Foundation’s research shows the measurable impact of its tools: Students who used Agilities tools explored three more careers than peers in control groups. They also experienced a 17 percent increase in confidence to overcome obstacles.
By expanding Career Literacy, The DeBruce Foundation is helping people see more career options and develop the growth mindsets that foster resilience and success in the modern economy.
“We need to ensure the next generation has the tools to imagine new possibilities, adapt to change, and pursue meaningful careers,” added Taylor Knight. “This dashboard helps us demonstrate the progress made along with partners nationwide, and the work still ahead.”
