Entrepreneurial and Community Leader Craig Moore II Joins The DeBruce Foundation Team
Moore to focus on developing career literacy partnerships
Kansas City, MO – The DeBruce Foundation, a national nonprofit foundation committed to expanding career pathways, is thrilled to welcome Craig Moore II to its team. Moore is joining The DeBruce Foundation as Partnership and Special Projects Manager.
Moore brings over a decade of leadership in Kansas City’s entrepreneurship and workforce development, enhancing economic ecosystems, promoting thriving wages, and fostering entrepreneurship in underserved communities. As the Founder of Black Excellence KC, Moore has worked alongside The DeBruce Foundation for years.

The DeBruce Foundation’s Agile Work Profiler© was an important career assessment for the Black Excellence community, as it doesn’t pigeonhole people; it expands the number of career opportunities in front of them,” said Craig Moore II, Partnership and Special Projects Manager at The DeBruce Foundation. “Now, it’s an honor to join The DeBruce Foundation team; they see the future of work and know how to help people build thriving careers in an evolving workforce.”
Recognized as a 2022 NextGen Professional by the Kansas City Business Journal and a 2023 Heartland HATCH Fellow, Moore serves on the Board of the Heartland Black Chamber and advises startups and nonprofits. With his expertise and network, Moore will help The DeBruce Foundation cultivate, build, and scale partnerships to advance the adoption of the Agilities© career literacy resources across the country.
