ProX is a regional collaboration that connects students aged 14-19 with paid summer internships and professional experiences. The DeBruce Foundation commends the 500+ students who completed the ProX program in the summer of 2023.
Over the summer, students were introduced to The DeBruce Foundation’s career assessment, the Agile Work Profiler©, which identifies one’s current work skills and interests. More than 300 students took the Agile Work Profiler© before and after their professional experience, resulting in unique data on the impact of early-career opportunities.
The data highlights the positive changes this program had on these young adults as they launch their careers. To dive into the data and share these insights with the philanthropic and workforce development communities, The DeBruce Foundation team created the below data visualizations.
Each visualization is interactive and explores a different aspect of students’ experiences. We invite you to click, roll over, and dive into the insights from this project to learn about students’ change in top Agility (work skill they are best at and most enjoy), change in perceived abilities, shift of work activity preferences, and increase in career literacy after ProX.
