Nathaniel Bozarth is a Data Analyst at The DeBruce Foundation where he uses data science to maximize the impact of the Foundation and to tell stories with data. Mr. Bozarth is passionate about understanding the present in light of the historical impact of unequitable policies and practices. Through that lens, Nathaniel works to see a world where there is more equitable opportunity for all. Before joining The DeBruce Foundation, Mr. Bozarth co-created an app-based tour (Dividing Lines) of the history of segregation in KC with Brainroot Light & Sound for the Johnson County Library. He also produced a podcast on the past and present of equity in education (Wide Ruled) as well as two documentary series on what opportunities are present and obstacles people face in pursuit of their dreams (Your Fellow Americans, Re:Dream). Mr. Bozarth earned his B.A. in Anthropology from Kansas State University and is a current M.S. student at Rockhurst University, studying data science.
